Curls of Medieval Cattery have also been a very pleasant experience.
Curls are a fascinating breed and a newer breed. Along with the ears
on this breed, the personalities are also an outstanding trait. They
want to know what you are doing, how you are doing it, and why you are
doing it. They have to be involved in your life all the way. They are
an extremely loving breed, always giving head butts and wanting to be
on your lap or with you. The American public is slowly discovering this
breed and once they do, it certainly will be the public's gain.
met
the "Curls" back in the show hall in '93 and proceeded to
acquire two of them. I showed both of them and the experience had been
wonderful. The more I was around them, the more I became fascinated
with them, so hence I decided to breed them.
t Medieval
Cattery, we breed longhair curls in all colors. With my breeding program,
I'm keeping the "large", "tall" ears and terrific
body conformation that belongs in the American Curl. The degree of ears
in Curls come in first, second, and third - the third being show quality.
Curls can come in straight eared also and are highly valuable in breeding
programs to keep the tall ears.
e here
at Medieval Cattery are very excited about Medieval's Magician Merlin.
In his first adult show (TICA) Merlin was Fifth Best Championship Cat in show
out of 78 cats. The compliments from the judges were outstanding on
him. As you can see from his outstanding accomplishments below, Merlin
was very well received by the cat world. He's now at stud, having accomplished
what I wanted for him. His son Riker, seen above, is now on the show circuit.
edieval
Cattery has a few litters every year and if you are interested, please
email us or check the kitten
page for litters available. We also have a few retired adults available
also. A deposit will hold a kitten until they are ready to go, usually
at 16 weeks. We hold curls longer to see how the ears develop. We are
a TICA Outstanding Cattery, FIP-FeLV negative and all kittens come with
a Veterinary Health Certificate and are guaranteed. Our kittens are
never caged and have the full run of the house.
